Sheep Derby Build Guide

Hey Farmer! Another Derby Race is coming to your farm on July 8, 2014 ! This time you will be racing with sheep in this new Farmville 2 Sheep Derby Starting Gate feature. This Derby Race will be the same as the Pig Derby Starting Gate and Donkey Derby Starting Gate where you will be racing your sheep to win coins and other great rewards! Information of this feature is listed below.

GUIDE:

Race your Sheep for Rewards and Bonus Coins in the new Sheep Derby! Build your Starting Gate, feed your Sheep, and invite your friends to watch the race and you can win BIG! For the best chance at a big payout, make sure you have at least 9 Sheep on your Farm (If you cannot afford Farm Buck Sheep, you can purchase some from the Market for Coins).

Placing the Sheep Derby Starting Gate will trigger an event where Gus will explain to you about this new feature. Gus will tell you that he is into traing sheep and interested in joining a race.

After the scene with Gus, the game screen will take you where you will be placing your Sheep Derby Starting Gate and then you will be shown the parts that you will need to collect in order to build it.

Items:

Sheep Flags (10) - Post
Bucket of Teal Paint (10) - Ask
Sheep Wood Posts (10) - Ask

When You have Collected the required items on the "Start Building!" button at the bottom of the construction menu. You will now need to Hire Builders to help you finish the job.
To get help from Friends click on the " Ask Friends" button to send some crew requests to your friends. When they accept, you'll see the spots in the Builder Menu begin to fill.
If you do not wish to wait for your friends, click the " Hire One" button to purchase crew members with Farm Bucks.

When You have successfully filled all 4 spots, click on the " Finish Building" button to complete the build. Once this button is completed you will see that you'll have an allotted time of three (3) weeks left for this feature.

Once your Starting Gate is built, you can start racing your Sheep and earn big rewards.

To Start, click on your Sheep Derby Starting Gate to open its menu window. The menu window shows how many Sheep you have and how many feedings needed to start a race. You will also need to invite Friends to watch the race. Note: Only Adult Sheep count in this race. Prized Sheep and Baby Sheep will not count toward the Sheep Derby.

After all the requirements are met, you are not ready to start the Race. Click the " Pick a Winner!"button to select the Sheep that you want to Race with other Sheep.

Another menu window will appear allowing You two select one of the five Sheep. Click on one of the " Select" buttons located directly below each Sheep. This menu window, you will notice, will also show the different Coin rewards you can earn for each place.

There are three different Jackpot Winnings depending on the number of Adult Sheep you have on your Farm. The "Get Sheep" image on the lower left side of the menu shows which Jackpot winning you are currently on. Hovering on the image shows how many more Sheep you need to be on the Jumbo Jackpot or Mega Jackpot winning.
