 Farmville 2 Spring Fling & Pig Racing Starting Gate Guide




Hey Farmers! On March  18, 2014 Walter will be needing help in this latest Farmville 2 Spring Fling Quest. Walter's planning to ask Barbara out to this weeks Pig Race and he needs a few suggestions on how to approach her. This Quest will have the usual 8 missions and we have listed the information below. Note: This Quest is pre-release and subject to change so check back for more updates.

Pig Racing Starting Gate Build

 Farmville 2 is bring you a new feature the month of March 2014 and it'll be released as part of the Spring Fling Quest. The race is entertaining to watch because it will show the actual race! Choosing the winning pig will also earn you 100,00 coins! There will be a total of five races to complete and you will also need five Adult Pigs on your farm.

      1. Place your Racing Cart on your farm and start building it by collecting the items that will show once you have "Click to build"
Build Items
  • Pig Starting Gate (10) - Post to news-feed.
  • Buckets of Green Paint (10) - Ask friends.
  • Wood Posts (10) - Ask Friends

      2. After you have collected the materials needed to build  your Starting gate. You can now ask Friends to help You finish building it.
     
     

       3. Once you have complete the Starting Gate build You can now click on it to open it's window.
As Stated above: You'll need 5 Adult Pigs on your farm. In addition to that You have to Feed 10 Adult Pigs and Invite 6 friends to start the race. After completing the task you can now start the race.
4. To Start the race you will first need to Select a Pig the click on Start Race.

Once the race starts you can sit back and watch as the Pig you have selected race against other pigs.
If your pig is the winner You will receive 100,000 in coins and a Racing Flag as Prizes!

 Spring Fling Quest

Mission 1: Kiln Me Softly
Barbara loves to make pottery. With all the Pig Racing this week there should be a glut of mud available!
  • Feed 4 Adult Pigs to get mud for the kiln.
  • Harvest a Pig Pen
  • Make 5 Pottery Slips to teach Walter smooth moves.

Mission 2: Thunder Pork
Host a pig race on your farm so I can take Barbara on a date.
  • Collect 5 Pig Racing Guides for pig race fans.
  • Make 4 Split Pea Soups to keep viewers warm and happy.
  • Have a completed Starting Gate so you can have a Pig Race.

Mission 3: Visualize Whirled Peas
Barbara can't go out until she's stocked her B&B kitchen. Can you help with these goods?
  • Harvest 20 Green Peas
  • Make 5 Springtime Pea Salads for the B&B.
  • Make 4 Cheese Quiche for the Pig Racing tourists.



Mission 4: Gifts from the Heart
I want to make Barbara something to remember me by. Something…utilitarian?
  • Harvest 2 Pig Pens for Clay.
  • Teach Walter how to make 3 Sheep Salt & Pepper Shakers.
  • Teach Walter how to make a Piggy Cookie Jar.

Mission 5: Setting the Mood
I don't know how to "do" romance. Can you give me some ideas for music and gifts?
  • Collect 5 Pig Gamboling SFX Records to set the mood.
  • Make 2 Key Chains so Walter and Barb can exchange house keys.
  • Make 4 Cow Creamers

Mission 6: Hot Date
I don't want to ruin my date with Barbara tonight. What should I bring along?
  • Receive 20 Piece of Woods from wood trees.
  • Make 3 Hand Mirrors so Barb can check her coat out!
  • Make 2 Green Peacoats to keep the love birds warm.


Mission 7: The Truffle Kerfuffle
I need to generate some serious coin in a jiffy. Can you teach me how to make Truffle oil?
  • Collect 5 Checkered Racing Flags to blend into the pig race crowd.
  • Make 4 Truffle Oils
  • Make 4 Rustic Truffle Oil Breads




Mission 8: Walter's Masterpiece
I want to learn how to make beautiful jewelry for Barbara using my own two hands.
  • Make 5 Leather Jewelry Boxes
  • Make 3 Peas in a Pod Necklaces
  • Have an Adult Hungarian Grey Cow by completing the Pig Racing.
